One-Off Deep Cleaning in Manchester: What's Included and How to Get a Quote

Last updated

Quick answer: Manchester End of Tenancy Cleaning offers one-off deep cleans from £155, using the same property-size starting prices as our end of tenancy service. Kitchens, bathrooms and cupboard interiors are included in the agreed rooms, with products and equipment supplied. Oven and fridge/freezer interiors can be added from £55 and £25 respectively. Condition, contents and access may increase the quote. We agree the scope and total before booking.

Finding a spare day for cupboard interiors, bathroom limescale and kitchen grease can be difficult. A one-off appointment lets you hand over the work that needs more time.

Is a deep clean the right service for my home?

Start with what you're trying to get done:

Your situation Service to ask for
You're staying in your home and want a thorough clean of agreed rooms One-off deep cleaning
You're handing an empty rental back to the landlord or agent End of tenancy cleaning
You've got the keys to an empty home and want it cleaned before unpacking Move-in cleaning
Renovation work has left plaster dust, paint residue or waste Describe the work for a separate assessment

If you're moving, see end of tenancy cleaning or move-in cleaning. Our focus is substantial one-off appointments for flats and houses of different sizes. For help planning a new home, read our moving-in cleaning and booking guide.

What should a one-off deep clean include?

We agree the tasks before booking, so the quote describes the work you're paying for.

Kitchen

Tell us about worktops, the hob, sink, cupboard fronts and floors. Cupboard and drawer interiors and kitchen degreasing are included in the agreed rooms. Empty cupboards before the appointment where possible: clearing and replacing contents takes extra time and may increase the quote. Mention heavy grease build-up and any appliance interiors you want to add.

Tell us the worktop material if you know it. Caesarstone's quartz-care guidance is a useful example: suitable mild cleaning and protection from strong oven-cleaning products help preserve the finish. Other worktop materials have their own requirements.

Bathrooms

Bathroom descaling is included in the agreed rooms. List the number of bathrooms, shower rooms and separate toilets. Point out areas needing extra attention, such as shower screens, taps or tiles. A main bathroom and an en-suite both need time, even in a two-bedroom flat.

Thorough descaling also means caring for the fittings. hansgrohe's tap-care guidance recommends a mild citric-acid-based cleaner and soft cotton cloth for its products, followed by rinsing and drying. Flag specialist tap finishes or stone surfaces so we can plan the right care.

Bedrooms and living spaces

Tell us which rooms to include and whether they contain furniture. We can agree accessible surfaces, skirting boards, doors, floors and other detail work. If a bedroom is used as an office, include it in the room count and explain the setup.

“Two bathrooms, kitchen including four empty cupboards, and floors throughout” tells us much more than “a really deep clean”.

How much does a one-off deep clean cost in Manchester?

We quote each deep clean individually. The main factors are:

  • The rooms and bathrooms you want cleaned.
  • Current condition and any areas needing extra time.
  • Furniture, belongings and access to surfaces.
  • Appliance interiors or other extras.
  • Property access and parking.

Deep cleans use the same base starting prices as end of tenancy cleaning: studios from £155, 1 bedroom from £189, 2 bedrooms from £229, 3 bedrooms from £269, 4 bedrooms from £309, and 5 or more bedrooms from £359. Cupboard interiors are included. Selected appliance interiors are added at the starting prices below. We confirm the scope and total before booking, including any extra time for condition, clearing and replacing contents or restricted access.

You can request a quote without photographs. Photos of the kitchen, bathrooms and priority areas can help explain the job.

Can I include the oven, fridge and carpets?

Yes. Tell us which extras you want so we can include the right appliance sizes in your quote:

Optional extra Starting price
Single oven interior clean from £55
Range or large oven interior clean from £70
Standard fridge/freezer interior clean from £25
Large or American fridge/freezer interior clean from £35
Carpet cleaning through an independent specialist partner from £35 per room

These are extras to the agreed deep clean. The independent carpet specialist confirms their own scope, price and availability. Mention carpet cleaning at the start if you'd like help arranging the work around the same visit.

Adding appliance work can save you another cleaning task later. Empty the fridge if you've booked its interior, and arrange freezer defrosting in advance where needed. Tell us about integrated or unusually large appliances.

How do I prepare an occupied home for a deep clean?

To help keep the work within the starting quote, tidy and organise your home as much as possible. Clear surfaces and floors, and empty the fridge, cupboards or pantry where you want the interiors cleaned, as much as you can. Tell us what needs clearing and replacing so we can allow the time in your quote. Clearing a full pantry and replacing its contents takes longer than cleaning an empty one. We can include that organising work where agreed, but the additional time may increase your quote.

An occupied home in standard condition can take longer than an empty property because of belongings and access, as well as bathroom descaling and kitchen degreasing. We can agree to move lighter items, but please arrange for heavy furniture or appliances to be moved beforehand where you want cleaning behind or underneath them. This helps prevent damage to your floors and belongings. We confirm scope and price before booking and discuss any additional work and charges before proceeding.

Let us know about pets, delicate finishes and anything that needs particular care. We bring the products and equipment for the agreed work, so you don't need to shop for a cleaning kit.

Share the floor type and brand if known. Karndean recommends a pH-neutral cleaner and damp mop for its flooring, rather than steam. Knowing the finish helps us plan a thorough clean that looks after the surface.

What makes a deep-cleaning quote worth paying for?

A useful quote names the work and extras, confirms the total, and explains what you need to prepare. Compare those details alongside customer feedback and photographs of completed work.

Our service is provided by Sage Cleans Ltd, the business behind Manchester End of Tenancy Cleaning. Over 1,000 end of tenancy cleans since 2016. That experience includes the kitchens, bathrooms and room-by-room detail work that matter in a thorough one-off clean.

FAQ

Can I book a deep clean without starting weekly cleaning? Yes. This is a one-off service. Tell us what needs doing and your preferred date, and we'll confirm an appointment for that work.

Does a one-off deep clean include a free re-clean guarantee? Yes. Our 72-hour re-clean guarantee covers deep cleans: report cleaning below the agreed standard within 72 hours of completion and we arrange access and come back to re-clean the affected areas free, within your agreed clean.

Do I need a large house to book? No. We quote for flats and houses. The rooms, condition and cleaning needed determine the job, rather than a requirement to have a large property.

How long will the clean take, and do I need to stay? We discuss timing after reviewing the scope. Tell us if you'll be working from home or need to leave. We'll confirm access and which rooms need to be available so the appointment fits your day.

Can you fit me in this week? Send your postcode, property details and preferred date so we can check availability. Phone hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and Saturday, 11am to 3pm. Saturday calls are for arranging weekday bookings.
